Just took my brother's Peugeot 107 out for a drive. God it was scary. Considering I haven't driven in well over a year and a half, I didn't do so bad? I did nearly ran over some kids on bikes though. Oops. Plus me and the gas pedal were at war. Aargh.

I'm falling more and more back into fandomy things, I'm liking it! Though how I'm going to keep up with everything, I don't know. Especially once the Volleyball, Football and Speedskating seasons go into full swing. It's going to be a challenge :D

Legend of the Seeker has been slowly turning into my new #1 fandom in the past half year or so. I just love it. Reading the 2nd book at the moment, and while I agree with most people that the show is easier and less boring to follow, the books are its foundations and its world is so much richer and complex ♥ It makes Terry Goodkind's longwinded scenes bearable to read xD The show itself is pure prettiness and kick ass awesomeness though. I'm rewatching S1 now in my impatience for S2 to start. Is it November yet?!

Luckily I have legendland to keep me occupied with LOTS-related challenges, it's such fun! Just like hogwartsch back in the days :) I scored 40 points for my team today because I was the first person to submit answers and they were all correct, mwahaha. Why yes, I am easily pleased these days.

I ripped and capped IWRY from my Angel dvds yesterday. How is it that that episode can still make me bawl my eyes out, 10 years since it first aired on television? Damn you Joss Whedon. *shakes fist* Anyway, I'm restarting my I Will Remember You shrine, in celebration of its 10th year anniversary and because I need to have a site project :D

Manchester United vs Chelsea in the Community Shield today! I'm not expecting us to win, not without Edwin and Vida and Gaz and Wes. But especially not without Edwin. Ben Foster had an awful pre-season, so I'm not confident that he'll pull through today, though one can always hope? I'll be wearing my shiny new Vida jersey today, even if he isn't playing xD

Holland - England friendly on wednesday! Should be interesting! I'll be going with mum, my aunt and my uncle, this makes going all NGGGGGGGH over Becks a wee bit difficult. Hmm. I'll just have to keep it down xD

Only seven months left before the 2010 Olympics in Vancouver start. I AM SO EXCITED. I still can't believe Cass and I actually have tickets for three of the Speedskating distances ♥ Though my bankaccount does believe it, it's been quite deflated. Going to the Olympics is SO EXPENSIVE. Everything together (event tickets, plane tickets, B&B stay, food) will cost me about € 3000,- bloody hell! It'll be so worth it though :)
